Compliance checklist (quick scan)

Check applicable Australian Design Rules for lights, brakes, emissions and structural modifications. Modifications that change crash performance or emissions require formal assessment.

In many states you may need an engineer's certificate, inspection, or modified vehicle approval for major changes (engine swaps, altered chassis, widened track). Check your state's transport authority.

Aftermarket exhausts, intakes and ECU remaps can affect emissions and noise. Keep parts with certification where available and document all changes for inspection.
